In over 30 years as a professional pianist playing for weddings and events, I have performed
as a pianist in a variety of different venues including restaurants, hotels and pubs. Some of the venues that I have played at can be found on my Links page. Whilst being able to read music to a high standard, in my early years  of playing I discovered that I had developed the great skill of being able to ‘play by ear’, which essentially means that once I have heard a piece of music, I am able to play it almost straightaway. This is very useful when playing for functions as it allows me to add pieces of music which are personal to the client/clients into their set.

From Bach to The Beatles, Liszt to Lloyd Webber, my piano repertoire is a mixture of easy listening, jazz, pop, classical and songs from the shows etc which is ever expanding and is based on years of experience. If the venue which you have chosen does not have a piano, then I can provide a quality Digital Piano and Amplification at no extra cost.
